Arrive early or stay late to make time to explore Oklahoma City!
The team at Travel OK has curated a special tour of the city for a limited group of UMA Motorcoach EXPO attendees who want to extend their time in Oklahoma City immediately following the end of EXPO on Sunday, February 23.
This tour is limited to the first 52 people to register, so sign up today as youregister for EXPO. If you have already registered, you can add this optional event to your registration online.
Immediately following the conclusion of the conference at noon on February 23, you will board the coach for a short transfer to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, where lunch will be provided.
Following lunch, you will be immersed in the story of how the world was changed forever on April 19, 1995, with the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building when the premeditated attack by an American and his accomplices killed 168 innocent people, left hundreds injured, and a community left to pick up the pieces and rebuild. That Day of Darkness was intended to breed chaos, fear, and distrust. Instead, it was met with an outpouring of love, unity, and resilience.
The tour continues at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, followed by stops at POPs on Route 66, the Arcadia Round Barn, and Dinner served at Chicken Shack, with attendees returned to the Convention Center at 8:30 PM on Sunday, February 23.
For those who don’t sign up fast enough, visit TravelOK.com for more ideas on things to see while you are visiting the Sooner state.
